Ratba’a is paying much attention to select its staff as result of its belief that successful management will plan for successful projects.
During the previous projects with different fields, Ratba’a built detailed records to recognize the qualifications and capabilities of each of their personnel, those records are considered the method for selection of employee.
For each single project, whether single or multiple sites, the permanent staff of Ratba’a will select the managers who will be in charge to select other staff and employ labor either from local town or depending on the company records.
The managers are following a procedure for employment plan, paying highest attention to employ Iraqi’s when their qualifications and experience comply with the job requirements.
When the qualification points are equalized for many careers applicants, the selection criteria will be within the following priority sequence:
1. Iraqi employment.
2. Residents of the same location of the project.
3. Good records from his/her past job.
When the project starts, an office will be founded in the project site to collect the applications for employment from the project’s town residents, those lists will be inspected and verified by the staff to confirm the right database for each applicant and his suitability to work on that project.
In the case of some crafts are not provided locally in the city, so employment manager will return back to Ratba’a database of crafts.
Ratba’a has lists of manpower for each craft, those lists are updated periodically to qualify/ disqualify, revise the capacity of each employee, and updating remarks on their history with Ratba’a projects.
