Ratba’a Contracting Company is An Iraqi based construction contractor established in 2001 as a limited liability company. The founders started the company targeting the local market with an eye on the regional markets. Over the 15-year, the unremitting dedication and hard work of its distinguished professional team, along with the willpower and determination of its founders, have all granted Ratba’a the aptitude to construct several specialized projects in various Iraqi Governorates . Adherence to international practices in environmental, Safety, and Quality management as well as Project Management Standards, has granted the company great deal of recognition. In the year 2014, Ratba’a Contracting was the one of the precursors Iraqi companies to achieve the ISO 9001:2008 certification, The Quality Management System, and after about 1 year, the company has achieved the Environmental Management System Certificate ISO 14001, and the Safety Management System Certificate ISO 45001 .In 2001. Ratba’a Contracting Company is classified as a “First Grade General Contractor” as per the Ministry of Planning – Iraq, with a first grade classification in all eight specializations, namely; Building Construction, Roads Construction, Concrete Works, Earthworks, Electro-mechanics, Communication Networks, Water & Sewerage, and Decor & Furnishing Works. With current workforce in excess of 400 permanent employees and unlimited temporary employees, and annual turnover in excess of 60 million USD, Ratba’a Contracting Company is clearly one of the leading and the largest reputable Iraqi construction contracting company in Southern Iraq.
